If you want an even more built-in feel, go to the next video to “Pop out the bolt cap”.
Using a pry tool, pop out the cap to expose the factory bolt that you'll be removing in the next step.
Using a torx head, back out and remove the factory bolt that is designed to stabilize the door panel when pulling the door shut.
All you need to is drop Marv in before moving on to the next step. No glue, no tape, no measuring or templates to find the right mounting position and no drilling in screws.
When threading in the bolt there's no need to tighten it up just snug it in, you'll feel Marv lock into position.
This video in the captions within it will inform you how to remove the factory door panel pad if you choose to do so. I recommend this for a perfect armrest installation.
To bolt Marv into the door panel factory mount using the bolt provided you will require the following tools:
Small pry tool or pick
T4 torx bit (to remove the Mercedes bolt)
5mm Allen Key
Note: vincesvangoes supplies the M6 bolt and pvc washer, located inside the free gift, air pod case baggie.
